About Me

My Story
I discovered Naturopathic Medicine when I was 15 years old, and decided instantaneously (no exaggeration) that this was what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Everything about the practice immediately resonated with me. After years of dissatisfaction with the un-holistic approach of conventional medicine to my own health concerns — chasing symptoms instead of addressing root causes, disregarding the mind-body connection, and using synthetic chemicals to "heal" — Naturopathic Medicine felt like a glorious discovery.
I pursued an Honours degree in Life Sciences at McMaster University, followed by my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), graduating in 2013.
Between those studies, I needed to travel and explore humanity and the earth before another four years of school. I spent a year solo travelling Latin America, then half a year in Asia. Those travels continued through Naturopaths Without Borders trips during med school, a 3-month journey through Africa after graduation, and many more since. The knowledge, perspective and understanding I gained was invaluable.
I spent my childhood on a farm, then gradually moved toward Toronto. After years in the city, my soul longed for rural living again. In 2023, I moved to Vancouver Island. The beautiful community, the peace, and the nature — mountains, ocean, rivers, forests, moss —all have my heart. I truly cannot imagine loving a place any more.♡
